The Horácká multifunctional arena in Jihlava
The Horácká multifunctional arena in Jihlava is growing in front of the public. We participated in the project design of this interesting building, which includes many unique structural elements. We are now providing author's supervision.
The Czech Republic, as a hockey country, has been waiting for 10 years for a new hockey stand to appear again. It will provide a modern background for Jihlava hockey. And not only to it.
The oval arena in Jihlava was conceived by Chybik + Kristof Architects as a versatile space: the indoor space will serve as a hockey stadium, exhibition space, different events and concerts. There is also an indoor gym. An outdoor track rests on the roof, which further enriches the sports functionality of the building and invites spectators to enjoy the surrounding views.
