Chronology

2004

Extension of production areas in the plant where there are produced airbags and steering wheels. The project was built in three stages from 2002 to 2004. It is a new build, an addition to the existing production plant. The building consists of a production hall, a manipulation shed – intermediate store, a loading part, and a separate shed with the technical part and built-in sanitary facilities. Later, there were built more production halls and additions housing offices and mechanical plants – prefabricated reinforced concrete structures founded on piles; the new shed for lorries and the detached waste store are steel structures. Two standardized prefabricated units are used as offices for intake of material and outgoing of final products.

The predominant structural system is prefabricated reinforced concrete elements. Roofing is trapezium-sheet; the envelope of the production hall is a lightweight façade sandwich panel consisting of sheet metal/PU foam/sheet metal.
